Our Story

Founded in August 2000, Precision Hydraulic Engineers (PHE) is a professionally managed company dedicated to providing exceptional after-sales support for hydraulic construction equipment, concrete equipment, defense equipment, railway machines, and industrial machines. Recognizing the vast potential in the field of Hydraulics and Automation, we set out on a mission to deliver cost-effective and durable repairs for hydraulic components, as well as offer genuine parts at highly competitive prices compared to OEMs.

With our extensive knowledge and experience, we have assembled a team of 20+ qualified and trained engineers who are ready to meet all your service requirements. Our focus goes beyond solving hydraulic problems – we strive to ensure maximum uptime for your machines through our reliability and commitment to quality. Every job attended by us comes with a warranty period of six months/three months or 1000 hours/500 hours, whichever is earlier, depending on the extent of the job.

Our well-equipped workshop spans over 7000+ square feet and is fully equipped to handle any repair requirement. It features essential tools and machinery, including compressors, grinders, working tables, welding sets, drill machines, pick and carry hand-operated hydraulic cranes, hydraulic pallet trucks, and various other necessary hand tools.

As part of our commitment to providing enhanced operations and better service to our esteemed customers, PHE is in the process of establishing a new workshop/training facility spanning over 10,000 square feet on Main Mathura Road.

At PHE, we are dedicated to delivering top-notch hydraulic solutions and services that exceed expectations and ensure the long-lasting performance of your equipment.

Our Infrastructure

Located near the Delhi border, our Faridabad office serves as the hub for all repair, service, and MRO jobs. Spanning over 7000 square feet,.. this facility is equipped with three hydraulic test benches for comprehensive testing and calibration of pumps, motors, and valves in both closed and open circuits. Led by Pankaj Srivastava, a highly regarded industry professional, our team of 20 staff members and technicians ensures efficient operations. We are currently developing a new test rig exclusively dedicated to testing and calibrating open circuit hydraulic pumps, primarily for excavators, which is expected to be operational by the second half of 2021. Additionally, we have the capability to conduct training sessions at this location.

Challenging Milestone: Repairing India’s Largest Hydraulic Motor

Achieved the challenging milestone of repairing India’s largest hydraulic motor, the MB 2400 – Hagglunds make, which is used in the sugar mill drive of Dhampur Sugar Mill and has a capacity of 150,000 cc/revolution.

Here’s what Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) has to say:

“BHEL, being the largest Govt-owned power generation equipment manufacturer, relies heavily on our fleet of expensive heavy cranes (270 Ton to 600 Ton) to lift and shift heavy loads. When a pump or motor on these cranes fails, it results in significant losses, with an estimated average loss of Rs. 20,000 per hour of breakdown. Previously, the turnaround time for repairs with the OEM was around two to three months.

However, everything changed when we approached PHE on January 29th, 2022. Our 100 cc pump failure brought Mr. Suresh Kumar from BHEL to their workshop at 10:30 am. PHE’s team swiftly dismantled and inspected the pump, providing us with a detailed estimate. With necessary approvals, the pump was repaired by 5:00 pm on the same day, following their stringent quality procedures.

We were astonished by the speed and quality of their operation. The repaired pump underwent rigorous testing on their state-of-the-art test bench and was handed over to us by 6:15 pm. Impressed by their exceptional service, our GM, Mr. A.K Nagpal, reached out to PHE’s MD, Mr. Pankaj Srivastava, to express his gratitude, stating, ‘You have done a miracle.’

GM Operations

Manmohan Tewari

Mr. Manmohan Tewari is the General Manager of Operations and is responsible for overseeing complete workshop operations and other activities. He is started his career with Elecon and then shifted to Larsen & Toubro Limited in July 1990 after a short stint with Elecon. He has worked in Mahindra and Mahindra for over two decades, primarily in the aftersales service department focusing on tractor development.

He was responsible for providing training to aftermarket professionals at all the dealerships and overseeing their aftermarket services.

He has vast experience in providing aftermarket support for hydraulic construction equipment and agricultural equipment, and he also has extensive professional experience in large organizations.

He oversees all workshop activities and ensures that the workshop operates at maximum efficiency through established SOPs.

Priyansh Srivastava

Priyansh, a bachelor student in mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, is the youngest member of our team. The 22-year-old is an avid machine enthusiast and loves to work in hydraulics. He never backs down from learning and taking responsibilities.

Having completed the Basic Hydraulic course from the PHE Institute of Hydraulics, Priyansh is well aware of the workings of hydraulic systems and circuits. Additionally, he has also completed an internship at PHE.

Priyansh is a trained musician and has many song releases to his credit in the indie pop music circuit.

Presently, he is responsible for business development in the western region, especially in the Mumbai area, for the construction and shipping industry.

Ashvinder Singh

With 26 years of experience across various industries, Ashvinder Singh is experienced in automotive, construction equipment, and consumer durable service operations. He has worked with organizations such as JCB India, Honda, Mercedes Benz Cars, and others.

He has over 12 years of training exposure in the Two Wheeler, Four Wheeler, and Construction Equipment sectors. He also held senior positions at JCB before joining us in our mission to train more than 100,000 professionals in highly specialized hydraulics training.

Brings with him years of experience and technical know-how in a wide range of industrial goods.

Deepak Vaid

Having extensive experience in dealing with heavy earthmoving machinery, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, and railway machinery including locomotives makes him stand out from the rest of the professionals. Mr.Vaid is a graduate from the SavitribaiPhule University of Pune, where he completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (1992-1996). Other than this, his proficient educational background also includes certification courses like Certificate Program in Management, Marketing, Managing People from IIT Bombay - Shailesh. J. Mehta School of Management (2008-2009), Management Development Program Finance - General from XLRI Jamshedpur (2008) & Business Mastery Program by Mr. Rahul Jain (2019-2020).A risk-taker, Deepak never shies away when it comes to looking for expansion opportunities. This has enabled him to expand the Company Business in Various Domains Like Railways, Industrial, Defence, Material Handling.His educational credentials include a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, a Certificate Program in Management, Marketing, and Managing People from IIT Bombay - Shailesh. J. Mehta School of Management, a Management Development Program, Finance - General from XLRI Jamshedpur & most recently & Business Mastery Program by Mr. Rahul Jain.He is known in the professional circle for his ethical work, fairness, a customer-centric attitude, and someone with strong relationship management skills. Pankaj Srivastava

Having an extensive experience of more than 32 years in after-sales services of heavy earthmoving equipment, servicing of components, and training in hydraulics, Mr. Pankaj Srivastava has set a benchmark in the industry. After obtaining his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from U.P. State Technical University, he began his career at Larsen & Toubro Ltd. as a Service Engineer for Earthmoving Machinery. He later joined Dynapac as the Service Head of the company, which was part of SvedalaIndustri (a Swedish MNC).In 1995, he got the opportunity to cater the Heavy & Light Construction Equipment Department. After working with large corporations, Mr. Srivastava ventured into establishing his own business, offering after-sales and repair services for hydraulic construction equipment and components. His accomplishments mainly include imparting knowledge and training about hydraulics to over 2000 personnel in India and abroad. It wouldn't be wrong to say that he has been instrumental in the overhaul works of large construction and underground tunneling machines, ensuring their successful completion.Having confidence and faith in one's skills is quintessential. However, to flourish, gaining the customers' trust and confidence in your abilities is imperative.
